Description:

An equine origin antiserum used to prevent endotoxemia and diarrhea caused by Escherichia coli in newborn foals when given within 12 hours of birth. It is prepared from the blood of horses hyperimmunized with four whole cell cultures of E.coli. Donors are also periodically immunized for strangles, V.E.W., rhinopneumonitis, clostridium, lepto and salmonella typhimurium. Directions: Administer 10 ml orally within 12 hours of birth.
