Adequan contains polysulfated glycosaminoglycan (PSGAG), a potent proteolytic enzyme inhibitor that stimulates synovial membrane activity, reduces synovial protein and increases synovial fluid viscosity in non-infectious degenerative, traumatized equine carpal joint.
