Perna mussels are a good source of protein, minerals, and chondroitin sulfates.

Along with Glucosamine and Perna canaliculus, GLYCO-FLEX I contains other ingredients such as N,N Dimethylglycine (DMG). Vetri-Science holds 5 U.S. patents on DMG which demonstrates the multiple benefits that this ingredient can provide for the health and well-being of the dog.

The Perna canaliculus used in GLYCO-FLEX I is produced by freeze-drying the entire mussel (excluding the shell) of the Perna Mussel from New Zealand.

Suggested Use (Initial 4-6 weeks);
Up to 30 pounds - 1/2 tablet daily
31 to 60 pounds - 1 tablet daily
61 to 100 pounds - 2 tablets daily
101 pounds and over - 2 1/2 tablets daily.

Maintenance Uses:
Up to 30 pounds - 1/2 tablet every other day
31 to 60 pounds - 1/2 tablet daily
61 to 100 pounds - 1 tablet daily
101 pounds and over - 1 1/2 tablets daily.

If giving more than 1 tablet, divide between AM and PM.
