Keratex Hoof Putty prevents grit and stones from entering the hoof between the horn and laminae. This malleable wax is used to fill cavities left by conditions such as seedy toe and after removal of abscesses from the sole. It completely seals these cavities from dirt, manure, urine and other sources of infection. This product is self adhesive yet is easily removed when required. Keratex Hoof Putty is easy to apply and over time is released into the hoof. Also has the strength to support drain tubes from which fluids can drain out and medications can be injected into.
