Iron Dextran Injection - 100 cc vial

Iron Dextran Injection is a sterile solution containing ferric hydroxide in complex with a low molecular weight dextran fraction equivalent to 100 mg elemental iron per ml with 0.5% phenol as a preservative. Use of this product after four weeks of age may cause staining of the ham muscle.

Directions:
Intramuscular injection. For prevention use 1 ml (100 mg) at 2 to 4 days of age. For treatment use 1 ml (100 mg). This may be repeated in approximately 10 days.
