Below is the description for how the entire sytstem operates:
Place the Indoor Barrier near anything you want your pet to avoid. Protect multiple areas in your home with the purchase of additional Indoor Barriers.

If you have more than one pet, additional Receiver Collars are available. An unlimited number of pets can be added to the system as long as they are wearing a PetSafe Pawz Away Receiver Collar. Protect several indoor areas with the purchase of PetSafe Pawz Away Extra Indoor Barriers.

How It Works:
The Indoor Barrier Transmitter sends a spherical radio signal, adjustable to 12 feet in diameter. Your pet wears a Receiver Collar with Contact Points that touch his neck. When your pet enters the Barrier Area, he"ll hear a series of beeps from the Receiver Collar and he will feel a safe, progressive Static Correction, delivered through the Contact Points on his neck. It is designed to startle, not to punish. The progressive Static correction will get your pet"s attention, but will not cause harm. Your pet will quickly learn to avoid the Barriers you have set up.

For use with pets 5 lbs and over. This product is designed for indoor use only. Do not expose to rain or snow. Barrier Transmitter requires 3 AA batteries, not included.
