In a nutshell, Glucosamine helps stimulate the production of joint fluid, Chondroitin helps prevent the breakdown of joint fluid. Good joint supplementation includes both glucosamine and chondroitin. The shellfish, perna canaliculus contains both.
PG 100 works in the prevention and treatment of ketosis (acetonemia) in dairy cattle. When properly administered, PG 100 can aid in the prevention of ketosis that can occur in early lactation. Ketosis is characterized by partial anorexia and depression.

Directions: For use mixed with feed or as a drench.
Prevention: Dairy Cattle: 6-8 fl. oz./head/day. Begin 2 weeks before calving and continue 6 weeks after calving.
treatment: Dairy Cattle: 6-16 fl oz/head/day. Dosage dependent upon severity, to be given for 10 days.
Caution: Not recommended for extended repeated administration. If condition persists, consult your veterinarian.
