The Ruff-Puppy teethers are made of 100% Virgin polyurethane (not rubber) - in actuality, it is the same material that Fisher Prices makes their baby teethers out of, ours is simply a much denser version to accommodate for the increased bite strength of an animal. The Ruff-Puppy teether is the only product in the marketplace that can be placed in the freezer and will retain the cold to soothe the animal"s sore gums as they chew. When taken out of the freezer the teethers remain soft and pliable which is a key component in the aid of cutting new teeth so there immature adult teeth do not break. Sizes are not shape or color specific.
