•Taurine is a sulfur-containing amino acid that is a soothing, inhibitory neurotransmitter which plays a major role in stabilizing the heartbeat and electrical activity of the nerves. It is frequently used to support the brain and heart and may aid in the control of angina, arrhythmia, and nervous system function.

•Taurine can act as a natural and gentle diuretic and can have a relaxing effect on constricted blood vessels and may help in the control of blood pressure.

•Taurine is necessary for the functioning of the "sodium-potassium ATP-ase pump" which regulates the ion balance between the cells and the extra cellular fluid that surrounds them. This critically important "pump" uses 7% to 40% of the ATP energy our bodies produce.

•Taurine is also important to the body's metabolism of fats and is needed to help absorb fat-soluble vitamins and regulate serum cholesterol levels.

Ingredients:
Taurine 500 mg. Also contains sorbitol, stearic acid, modified cellulose gum, colloidal silicon dioxide and magnesium stearate.

Suggested Use:
1 tablet daily, or as recommended by your health care practitioner. Discuss the use of 500 mg 3 times a day if angina is a problem, 1500 mg twice a day if arrhythmia is a problem, 500 mg 3 times day if dealing with epilepsy, 500 mg 2 times daily if hypertension is a problem.
