UlcerGard - 6 Syringes (4 Doses Each)

UlcerGard is the first and only non-prescription, FDA approved preventative for Equine Gastric Ulcer Syndrome (EGUS). The main ingredient omeprazole, is an acid-pump inhibitor, so it stops acid production at the source. UlcerGard has been shown to effectively prevent stomach ulcers in horses exposed to stressful conditions for a duration of 28 days. Formulated as a once-a-day cinnamon flavored oral paste that is well accepted by horses. The minimum recommended dosage is 1mg/kg or 1/4 syringe per day. Each syringe provides 4 preventative doses for horses between 600 and 1,200 pounds and 2 doses for horses over 1,200 pounds.
