My cat's eyes get irritated occasionally. I paid a vet to tell me there was no real reason for it, and they couldn't recommend anything. Now when his eyes get a little itchy and pink, this stuff takes care of it quickly with no visit to the vet. Someone else had great success with it on her cat when his eyes were teary from feline herpes. This helps with any eye irritations and will more than pay for itself.
Vetericyn Opthalmic Gel - 2 ounce - Works very well

My dogs and cats are country animals and are used to running free. The dogs will get fescue and other dusts in their eyes which sometimes causes an infection. I will use Vetericyn for 2-3 days and the infection is gone.
I do not use the Vetericyn spray in their eyes because they do not like it. I use the Gel. I heat a cup of water in the microwave for about 45 – 50 seconds. Drop the Vetericyn Gell bottle down in the warm water. This gets the gel to their body temperature and they don’t fight that cold drop in their eyes. Try it on yourself, the warm drop is much easier. No body ever tells you this but it makes sense to me so I do it.
Pros: Clears up eye infections quickly. Since I can not find Terramaycin eye Ointment any more I have tried Vetericyn and have found it to do a good job.
Cons: None that I am aware of. It is a bit costly but it works,
