Shipping weight = 0.10 lb.

Product Summary:

Sterile, disposable, slip tip syringe and needle.
Note: For animal use only.
Quick Guide to Buying Needles:
Slip tip or Lure Lock? A slip tip needle will simply pop on to the end of the syringe where as a lure lock actually screws on to the end. All syringes will accept both kinds of needles. KV Supply sells needles and syringes separately or together. All needles and syringes are sterile and wrapped individually.

The gauge (ga) specifies how big around the needle is. Keep in mind that the bigger the gauge #, the smaller the needle is. For instance, a 25 ga needle is very thin and tiny (for small animals like kittens and small puppies), where as a 16 ga needle will be bigger around and thicker (for larger tougher skinned animals like cattle and hogs).

The length of the needle is also stated, length is important as you are going to want a longer needle for large animals, and a shorter needle for smaller animals.

Below are some guidelines for common use of specific needle types:
18 ga to 19 ga 1" for giving fluids to small animals.
22 ga to 23 ga 3/4" for giving vaccines to small animals.
25 ga 5/8" for very small animals for vaccines
20 ga to 21 ga 1 1/2" for horses and cattle vaccines and medication shots.
20 ga to 19 ga 1" for medications and vaccines for sheep and goats.
14 ga to 16 ga for tough skinned animals like pigs.

Is this price (over $1) for just one single syringe / needle?
A shopper on Jan 6, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I bought these a year ago and think they were less than a dollar each. I purchased a larger quantity (30) so perhaps that is why.
Is this price (over $1) for just one single syringe / needle?
SopanOpe on Jan 6, 2019
BEST ANSWER: From the link included with your question, it looks like it's $1.19 for 1 syringe. I ordered item 01101AT-1X25X5-8 which was 100 syringes for $11.99 + $1 handling + $6.99 shipping = $19.98. I don't know what the difference between the two types of syringes is.
