Contact your veterinarian if your pet experiences any unusual reactions when different medications are given together.

Allergic reactions to medications may occur. Be sure to inform your veterinarian if your pet has any known drug sensitivities or allergies. If your pet displays symptoms of an allergic reaction, call your veterinarian immediately or go to a veterinary emergency clinic. Symptoms may include but are not limited to: swollen lips, tongue, face, airways; difficulty breathing; agitation; profuse salivation; vomiting; widespread hives and itching.

Side effects:
Side effects may include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite, and decreased activity. If you notice anything unusual, contact your veterinarian.

Usage:
Comfortis should be given orally as directed by your veterinarian. If vomiting occurs within an hour of administration, redose with another full dose.

My vet prescribed Comfortis for my cats 2 years ago. The medication is the same for dogs and cats, so we just cut the pills into quarters, based on their weight, per vet's instructions. My cats are indoor with hard floors, so fleas are not a problem very often, but when they do have a flea or two, I crush this into their wet food and don't have to do it again for months. They don't exhibit any side effects.

It works very well. And it lasts longer than one month!
