Elliott likes it!
This set works just great! We have an elderly cat who gets subq fluids every other day. We depend on these lines to be sterile and efficient to keep our cat healthy. And the price is right too! Thank You KV!

Disposable Intavenous Set
The veno sets have worked well with the lactated ringers we had purchased and are administering daily for our dog that has kidney disease.

Pliable and great length
These are shorter than those that came from my veterinarian. and I like them better. The quality of the line itself is more pliable plastic so it makes in easier to use. Thank you!

Great price on great product
I bought this for my 17 year old cat, with kidney disease. I use it to inject lactated ringers solution under her skin. She is doing so much better now. The price is a lot better than the ones from the vet. The only thing I don’t like about these is that you can’t slide the wheel, that controls the drip, up the tubing. It is stuck in one place, too close to the end of the tube. The ones from the vet could be slid up and down. That made it easier to control. I would definitely recommend this product though.

It's very basic, cheap quality, but it gets the job done for administering subcutaneous fluids to my cat. No extra ports or clamps, but the roller shut-off works well.

I use 18 gauge needles every day with the sub-Q fluids
I change my needle with each treatment..18 gauge make it easy to use to give the IV fluids

Good sey
Love that these have a small plastic piece to hold when attaching a new needle. Helps from your hand sliding down. Length of the line is too small for my setup.

Allows for a quick flow
Just wish it had a needle-lock

Line is too soft and flow control squeezes the line to a point where fluid does not flow.
Good price but poor quality.

When the vets have recommending giving sub-q fluids, we have always used this tubing. It is very simple to use, easier than those bought from the vet, so we always order these from KV Supply.

Best lines for Sub-Q fluids. Short line, fast delivery. No bells and whistles (clamps and locks) - just fast and that counts when you have to administer to a cat.

Can KV get an IV set with a luer lock? instead of a slip lock? I couldn't get the cap off the needle and had to go back to my vets office to purchase the IV set? This one is not very easy to use.
Cheryl on Aug 16, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I will send a message to our Merchandising Team to see if we can look into this for you. Thank you for your input.
Does this iv line include a y-site injection port for adding drugs to the running line and not to the full bag of LR.?
A shopper on Nov 30, 2017
BEST ANSWER: This is the cheapest i.v. line. It doesn't have the y-site injection port. Instead, it has a simpler soft rubber/latex area near the end where you can inject meds (the honey-colored section). I haven't used mine yet, but suspect it will work fine for at least the life of one LR bag, maybe more if you're injecting the meds using syringes with thin needles.
Please let me know what needles are needed for this set?
A shopper on Jul 25, 2017
BEST ANSWER: All of the needles we sell are compatible with the IV set. You would just need to determined what gauge needed for your specific animal. Hope this helps!
