Can this help with a respiratory infection ?
M j p on Apr 10, 2018
BEST ANSWER: It might work, but I’m sure there are better antibiotics for respiratory infections too. When my hen had a really bad respiratory infection, I took her to the vet, and I believe they gave her an antibiotic called Clavamox, if I recall correctly. This bird biotic is doxycycline, which is a form of tetracycline, so it could work. I would search online a bit and see what meds are talked about most often for respiratory stuff...maybe the forums on backyard chickens...Good luck to you!
