Tumil-K is a nutritional supplement for cats and dogs with potassium deficiency, especially in cats with renal disease.

Cautions:
Use with caution in the presence of cardiac disease, particularly in digitalized patients or in the presence of renal disease. Do not administer in diseases where high potassium levels may be encountered, such as severe renal insufficiency or adrenal insufficiency. Give Tumil-K with food and ensure there is plenty of drinking water available for your pet. Make sure to tell your veterinarian what other medication you are giving to your pet. Quite often your veterinarian may prescribe two different medications, and a drug interaction may be anticipated. In this case, your veterinarian may vary the dose and/or monitor your pet more closely. The following drugs can potentially interact with Tumil-K: angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors, spironolactone, digitalis, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agents, anticholinergic agents, glucocorticoids, mineralocorticoids, and ACTH. Contact your veterinarian if your pet experiences any unusual reactions when different medications are given together. Allergic reactions to medications may occur. Be sure to inform your veterinarian if your pet has any known drug sensitivities or allergies. If your pet displays symptoms of an allergic reaction, call your veterinarian immediately or go to a veterinary emergency clinic. Symptoms may include but are not limited to: swollen lips, tongue, face, airways; difficulty breathing; agitation; profuse salivation; vomiting; widespread hives and itching.
Side effects:
Side effects may include muscular weakness, stomach disturbances, heart disturbances. Notify your veterinarian if side effects are noted and they are troublesome. Other side effects may occur. If you notice anything unusual, contact your veterinarian.
Usage:
Tumil-K should be given orally as directed by your veterinarian.
