To manage my cat's IBD. Before I started using this, he was always hungry and I fed him a ton, but he kept losing weight. Within a couple of days of giving a shot of B12, he was gaining weight. It has now been 3 years and he is doing great with a monthly 1ml shot.

can humans take these b12 injections?
A shopper on Jan 6, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I would ask my doctor. KV is for animals, I wouldn't do it without human medical advice. There are B12 pills available that will boost a human's B12. I give B12 to my dog who has Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency and can not store B12 in her body.
I do not have a RX do I need one?
Bill M on Mar 18, 2019

does cyanocobalamin require refrigeration?
A shopper on Jun 2, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I have used B-12 for about 3 years for a cat and never been advised to refrigerate the solution. The B-12 solutions I've used has come from several different sources including from Kv supplies. I store it at normal room temperatures in the 70s F, and pay strict attention to the expiration dates.
Can humans take it for energy?
Amanda H on Aug 16, 2018
BEST ANSWER: This isn't Vitamin B12 Methylcobalamin, which is the preferred form for humans (and technically, other animals as well). So you're better off getting that form for human injection, or use the sublingual drops or tablets. I find the sublingual tablets work well for energy, as do the drops.
"I Googled B12 injections for humans to buy" and your site came up. Can your B12 be used for humans as well as animals?
Lesley E on Feb 28, 2019
BEST ANSWER: This isn't Vitamin B12 Methylcobalamin, which is the preferred form for humans (and technically, other animals as well). So you're better off getting that form for human injection, or use the sublingual drops or tablets. I find the sublingual tablets work well for energy, as do the drops. I used this on my cat for a few months.
