To manage my cat's IBD. Before I started using this, he was always hungry and I fed him a ton, but he kept losing weight. Within a couple of days of giving a shot of B12, he was gaining weight. It has now been 3 years and he is doing great with a monthly 1ml shot.

My dog has an intestinal issue and needs b12 injections but his vet retired last year without notice. How can I get b12 for my dog?
John S on Jun 6, 2019
BEST ANSWER: The b 12 injection needs a veterinarian approval. You would need a prescription to purchase this item.
Can it be used in people?
VICKI G on Apr 5, 2019
BEST ANSWER: This isn't Vitamin B12 Methylcobalamin, which is the preferred form for humans (and technically, other animals as well). So you're better off getting that form for human injection, or use the sublingual drops or tablets. I find the sublingual tablets work well for energy, as do the drops.
I do not have a RX do I need one?
Bill M on Mar 18, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes, you need a prescription . If you supply the name and phone number of your vet, KV will contact and fill the prescription .
